SAN MATEO, Calif., June 30, 2006 — Mythos Solar Energy today filed applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for a portfolio of patents and trademarks that would protect its product technology and brand identity. Represented by leading international law firm Perkins Coie, Mythos applied for patent protection for its proprietary product line and intellectual properties.
The filing is a major step as the company moves forward with plans to launch and market its products. Mythos CEO Laura Linser said the company engaged Perkins Coie because of the firm's extensive experience working with preeminent technology companies and Silicon Valley industry leaders.
