SAN MATEO, Calif., July 1, 2006 — Mythos Solar Energy today entered into a national distributor agreement with GridPoint, a clean technology company that provides Internet-enabled intelligent energy management appliances.

Under the agreement, Mythos became a national authorized distributor of GridPoint Connect™ appliances, which use conventional grid and renewable energy sources to provide backup power to homes and businesses during power outages. A Web-based monitoring and management portal for the appliance provides detailed information about energy consumption and allows for better cost control. To sell the appliances, Mythos will launch a Mythos Solar Dealer Program in California, Utah, Nevada and Colorado.

Expanded Opportunities for Mythos

Today’s agreement provides Mythos with a unique product offering to sell to solar dealers in four targeted states, said Mythos CEO Laura Linser.

“Initially, this relationship with GridPoint will allow Mythos to establish an extensive dealer network in California, Utah, Nevada and Colorado,” said Linser. “Later, we plan to drive Mythos-branded product sales through this sales channel.”
