SAN MATEO, Calif., January 3, 2007 — Mythos Solar Energy today opened its first research and development lab in Belmont, Calif. The company will use the state-of-the-art facility to further develop its off-the-grid Intelligent Remote Power Solution™ (IRPS) remote monitoring software and to warehouse the company's inventory of GridPoint Connect™ intelligent energy management backup power appliances.

A Major Milestone

According to Mythos CEO Laura Linser, the lab will greatly enhance the company's ability to focus its product development efforts and deliver products to customers.
