Using stored battery power, the GridPoint Connect™ appliance operates automatically and instantly to ensure a seamless supply of power to any business or residential environment. The switchover to battery power happens in milliseconds — in most cases, users won’t even notice that there has been a power outage.

GridPoint Connect can store up to 10 kWh of power in its high-capacity battery bank. It distributes power using a separate critical load panel designed to provide up to 60 amps of 120V of alternating current. The appliance can deliver stored energy quickly to such critical loads as computers, refrigerators, security systems, heating systems and well pumps. We offer a wide range of battery capacity configurations — including the option of adding additional battery banks — to meet the specific needs of your situation.

GridPoint batteries are VRLA type, maintenance-free, fully recyclable and have a five- to eight-year life. The energy they supply is clean, quiet and reliable, with no harmful emissions.

The GridPoint Connect Series can charge its batteries from the grid or a renewable energy source, such as the sun or wind. GridPoint Connect offers the added advantage of being able to continue charging its batteries from a renewable energy source even during an outage.
